Nexii a precision manufacturer of sustainable building products is seeking an experienced and well qualified Financial Controller for their Squamish based manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate has an accounting degree, 15 years experience, including at least two years as a controller or CFO with full P&L and closing responsibilities. Manufacturing experience a plus. This is a Squamish based position (not remote) and we seek those with little or modest commute to make this a long term relationship.
Nexii manufactures the leading green and sustainably made commercial wall panels in North America, with great clients like Starbucks, McDonalds, Scotia Bank and Walmart. Recently restructured we are rebuilding the company from our Squamish location.
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have a valid work permit.
About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Yearly wage ranging from $100,000k – $168,000k depending on experience
- Full extended health and dental benefit package.
- Full time, 40 hours per week, 8:00a – 5:00p (in office, not a remote position)
- Positive and fun working environment.
The Perfect Candidate:
- Accounting or Finance Degree / Diploma.
- 15 years of progressive accounting experience.
- 2+ years working as a Controller or Chief Financial Officer.
- Experienced at profit & loss, month and year end closing responsibilities.
- Must be proficient in Sage Accounting or similar accounting programs.
- Fully in charge of accounting responsibilities for the Company.
- Utilizing Sage Accounting system.
- Monthly Closing and CRA, Payroll remittances.
- Cash Management.
- Budgeting and Projections.
- Provide financial reporting to key members of the company.
